World Salafi has been derived from Salfussalehin is a broad term and all those who follow Quran and Sunnah as explained by Salfussalehin are salafi.But in last 3-4 decades Salafi became a group.And recently new tragedy came with so called Salafi subgroups turned against each other.The reason are leaving Prophet Dawah Manhaj,wrong ways of Nahi Anil munkar,Not understanding acceptable difference of Opinion among scholar.Time for introspection has come.Give your inputs in comments.JAZAKALLAH
